The Porpoise have been in the canals for the last couple of days, I have not seen to much snook action around the docks at night the mullet are still abundant. Good Redfish action around the mangroves west of the Belcher bridge been having some luck using live shrimp free lined on a incoming tide. Low tides seem to only fortify my idea of not fishing in the heat of the day.
I fish Allens Creek in Pinellas County everyday and will keep you updated atleast once a week. Allens creek is a great little unknown gem for fishing spots in Largo Florida fishing.

Fishing Allen’s creek, the tides have been running low for a while now but the fishing has been good. There are a lot of mullet in the creek at the moment. The small mullet the snook are going crazy over. The water has been dirty do to a lot of rain in the last week or so but the snook have still been biting baits of choice shrimp, finger mullet. Gold spoons also have had very good results.
If you decide to fish Allens Creek be careful of all the sandbars the creek is very shallow in spots. Manatee are back in the canal and frolicking in the afternoon sun, so be careful or motoring around the creek.
